Height alone doesn't tell the full story about the right riding position. Two cyclists of the same height can have different leg length, torso length, arm length, or flexibility. Your preferred riding position also plays a big role. For more comfort, a slightly more upright position with more frame stack and less frame reach is often a better fit. For a lower, aerodynamic position, less frame stack and more frame reach is often more appropriate. That's why the bike fit looks not just at your height, but at your body proportions and riding style.

Can I use the bike fit for a flat bar bike?

For a flat bar bike, the mountain bike bike fit is usually the better choice. The back angle on this type of bike depends heavily on how it's used. A sporty mountain bike position, a comfortable trekking position, and a city-oriented flat bar position can differ significantly from one another.

Yes, you can use the results to set up your indoor bike as well as possible. Do keep in mind that aerodynamics don't play a role indoors. Because of this, it's often more comfortable to opt for a slightly more upright position inside, for example with a back angle that is about 2 degrees more upright than your outdoor position.

You can request this yourself at app.bestbikeadvice.com/en/cookies. At the bottom of the page you'll find the option "Request data deletion". Enter your email address and confirm the request via the email you receive. Your data will then be deleted automatically.

For minor changes you can often estimate the impact yourself, so you usually won't need to purchase a new bike fit. If you still have active access, you can simply update the change yourself in your existing bike fit.
